ROM 0 machines have a lot of limitations (device compatibility, RAM
expandability I think). ROM 1 and 3 are much more usable. I think they
aren't so different from each other, but I'm sure there are some
benefits to ROM 3. Google would probably tell us, if I had time to look
it up. One thing that springs to mind is the RAM on board; I think ROM 0
and 1 had 256k, 3 had 1MB. Something like that.
