Hi,
Does anyone know what all the numbers on the backs of Intel Magnetics
bubble memory modules mean?
Part number, data/lotcode, and hardcopy version of the bootloop. The last
item is the map of good(used) loops on the device. There are more loops
than are used for reasons of yeild. Seems in manufacture there will be
some loops that are bad for whatever reasons.
One of the three modules that I have has a penciled-in
line separating
every 4th digit, so it looks like maybe some kind of address, but I
think the modules each store 128KB and 16 bits wouldn't be enough.
Besides that, I can't think of any use for address listings on the
modules.
Yep, bootloop. The FSA chips needs to know this to correctly access the
good loops. I believe there is one bit per loop and 320 good loops and
I forget how many total.
