I think I may hve missed out on a bargain yesterday.
I was walking around Surbiton, yesterday and in one of the
charity shops they had a ZX81 complete with original manuals
and a black and white TV for 15UKP. I left it there becuse
I could not have carried the TV all the way to the car about
a mile away. Perhaps I should have told them that I would
give them 15 quid for the computer and they could have the TV.
15 quid for an assembled ZX81 with the book ?
How many do you want ?
I would pay this for a brand new, mint, unopened box.
BTW: HAMRADIO in Friedrichshafen was quite fun. I picked up
an ADDS 60 Terminal (free), a textterminal (termal paper) from
1976 (10 Mark), a PX-8 (10 Mark) and 22 original boxed Atari
VCS 2600 Joysticks (20 Mark) ... I just had to pick the nice
stuff, since Ricardo already had scouted the area and recorded
all relevant stuff via his camera :)
Gruss
H.
