The other way to tell is the supported density. 9 track tapes are all
360 era.
800bpi 7 track was the highest density IBM used on machines like the
1401 or 7090.
If a tape is rated at 556 bpi, for example, it probably started out on
earlier
machines. 7 track drives, of course, were available as options on the
360 for data
migration.
These are just canisters so no density. Frankly the same canisters were
used even
into the 370 era, though by that time self loading drivers
were common and most tapes came in normal or self load collars. These
look like System/360 but its hard to be certain...
