That I don't mind too much, because most of them have an equivalent (in
terms of CPU, memory, goofy features etc.) that isn't seen as being
wow-rare-look insanely valuable.
The downside is, as you say, that the side effect of the really desirable
stuff commanding higher prices is that it seems to have raised the price of
everything else; I don't think that's entirely down to scarcity.
