Mind you, I have nothing against writing slapdash code to check out
an idea or algorithm. Quick and dirty, use whatever tools are
available.
But then, if the concept proves out, throw the code away and write
and document the new code in a way that it can be maintained.
I'm tired of reading Linux listings where you say "Where's the
narrative? How does this thing work and why did the author do what
he did? What are his naming conventions?"
I know...Linux Is Wonderful and I'm a Bad Person for criticizing it.
