Over $200? Holy cow--my big expense was for the PID controller and some
73C thermal safety fuses. The rest I already had-3/4" oak-veneer
plywood, some 3/4" oak board, extruded 1" poly insulation, cabinet
hardware, fan, terminal strips, AC receptacles, fuse holders, casters,
etc. all were part of my hellbox contents. I even had the stain and
varnish on hand. Even the halogen lamp used to heat the thing is
probably over 20 years old.
