Well we had an English Electric 'fridge which worked fine (and long,
purchased in 1963 and still getting the beer cold). I guess English
Electric must have been a large conglomerate with 'fridges being a minor
sideline (high speed jet fighters and computers being other more
"interesting" things they built).
