Sun Adapter != IBM Adapter != SGI Adapter
If you have a Sun Adapter, it will not work on your SGI, and it will
not
work on your RS/6000.
Indeed, though it may be worth mentioning that the Indy also provides
sync-on-green, and if you have a monitor which also supports
sync-on-green, you might get it to work that way.
IIRC, the Indy *only* provides sync-on-green, which is what confuses
the Sun 13W3-HD15 adapter (it expects composite-sync).
First check that your monitor accepts SOG. A bunch of the NECs do.
Then pull pin 10 out of the 13W3 side of the adapter. If you're
using the adapter only with SGI kit, you can pull all the little pins.
On the 13W3 side, of course.
