It's a losing battle, but I guess we'll have to keep fighting
it forever anyhow. Sigh.
Somehow I always expected software to get better over time. For
instance, there's no reason why an MUA shouldn't handle quoting and
attribution correctly. But that doesn't seem to be what happens
in practice. Microsoft Outlook makes a half-assed attempt at it,
but is significantly worse than not doing it at all.
