Hi
I went through the list and matched the numbers with the excellent field
guide [1] and other sources. Below is the result. The formatting might be a
bit wonky and I hope I got the numbers right.
Timing is everything. I just finished digesting Megan Gentry's and Doug
Jones' module lists, normalizing the columns, and importing it into a
secondary tab on a spreadsheet so that you can use VLOOKUP to
dump any list of boards by handle number in the A-column and it fills
out option name (KK8E, MS11...), bus type (if known), width (if known)
and any notes about the item (taken from the module lists).
There are some nice boards in the lot.
That there are. I've been considering picking up a couple of memory
boards, but I probably can't afford any of the newer, slicker items
there (J-11 CPUs, Ethernet...)
I'll hold out for the PDP8 stuff, I'm
in particular looking for an RL8A (M8433), KM8E (M837) and a OMNIBUS
backplane.
I am also looking forward to the PDP-8 stuff. I mostly have what I need
there too, but I always seem to have more boxes than RX8E interfaces,
and I have a pile of boards that wants to be a PDP-8/e. Of course, if
there are any surprise entries (RL278...) I'd be interested in odd stuff.
