Careful, you'll need
both single registration and dual registration
connectors, both 48 pin and both look the same initially.
What's the difference between single and double? Top and bottom are
connected together for each position on single, or something else?

of the stocked 044:

Digikey quotes 244.06 / 25 = $9.76 for the 305-050-500-202 so that
might be about what the price would be for the 305-048-500-202.
That's about twice of SammySlave's used eBay price (or about the same
after paying him shipping), but no hood.
