True, if you are lucky enough to have a TV with a degaussing pulse.
Many cheap ones (including the one above) do not, and I've spent hours

I've never seen a CRT-based colour TV or monitor without a degaussing
coil around the CRT flare and a little posistor circuit to produce a
decaying AC field at switch-on.
Even cheap brands, like Amstrad, had them over here.
