Hi --
Since this is the ccTALK list, and I can therefore post about
whatever I want (per Dave), Iwas wondering what kind of underwear
y'all prefer? Personally, I prefer tighty-whiteys, but I'm afraid
they might not be trendy enough.
Thanks,

There are other ways to go about this other than hypocrisy. I seem
to recall you just citing the list?s ?No overly offensive or junk
posts?. Can you confirm?
You could?ve played this much better.
Indeed. Josh's post that kicked this discussion thread off was
certainly a "junk post".
While this isn't Wikipedia, and we seem to be more tolerant of trolls
here, over there this sort of thing happens frequently enough that
there are project pages dedicated to this very phenomenon. There, this
sort of "well if X can do Y, then I'll do Y just to /prove/ my point
that X shouldn't do Y" response from Josh would have been met with a
reference to "WP:POINT"
[

and quite possibly a public flogging. In fact, both Josh's and Mike's
posts in these threads would have probably already garnered a response
of "WP:REICHSTAG" or "WP:SPIDERMAN"
[
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:No_climbing_the_Reichstag_dressed_as…]
long before now.

Apologies for trying to improve the signal:noise ratiohere, clearly I'm
the one at fault for trying (with humorous intent) to point out that
"off topic" has its limits. I'll shut up now. Please -- continue
talking about child discipline, ebooks, SUITS, and those kids these
days. I see now that underwear is clearly off-topic.
