That's not a good thing. The oil pressure warning light should never
ever come on if the engine is running. I have one car where I
occasionally get a little blink of oil pressure, but I know it runs at
low oil pressure anyway and it's only at *very* low revs, such as
letting it dip below 500rpm when pulling away gently.
If it's a blinky oil *level* light then you ought to put some oil in ;-)
