How about a handful of Little Blue Things? Those are
the 1/4 inch
wide blue vinyl strips that stick to the shiny backing of DECtape, and
serve to hold the end to the reel when you put it into the case.
Anybody know where to get little blue things these days? Seems like
every 9track reel that comes my way needs an lbt or a block of foam
(lbts seem safer, given how foam often ages). Getting tired of needing
to run 500 feet off the reel to get to the fold-loopback caused by loose
packing and the inevitable shift in the mail.
