Sorry to dilute the Unix/Windows/Mac flamewar with a

know of a site where I can get images of the SunOS4.0.2

the original disks but they were used to hold "something
else" long ago - now I'd like to restore them to their
former glory :-)

From the Sun386i User's Guide
Page 143, 1st
paragraph:
"SunOS is based upon a UNIX operating system, and as such it allows
broad freedom in selecting names for files. For example, a UNIX
operating system file name can be up to 255 characters long. DOS
file-name conventions, on the other hand, are somewhat more
restrictive."
heheheh too funny, in the year the 386i was current, "somewhat
more restrictive." was a rather kindly a way to put that.
