Yes. Th Computer was marketed as a K1810WM86 Computer, which is the russian
Version of the 8086. In real life they mostly came equpped with Siemens
8086 and Intel 8087. Nevertheless, the two russian CPU's I have are working
well in that system together with the 8087.
The other peripherals are Chips from russians or or other Counties,
sometimes there is a russian PIT on the PCB and on the next Board is a NEC
PIT. They simply used what they could get. The PC isn't that much
compatible anyways, there is an 8257 DMA in there for Example, the XT has a
8237 the entire I/O System is tootal different too, using that Subystems
with Z80's. Even the ersial Ports in reach of the 8086 CPU are Z80-SIOs and
not 8250.
