Precisely--I'm not at all certain about the operational status of the
hosting hardware. Best to have something to wring it out on. Building
from the pkgsrc involves lots of different types of
activity. But watching
the slowness of the process got me to wondering about folks
with the older
much slower hardware.
BTW, anyone tried WINE on NetBSD lately? Netbsd.org seems to be strangely
silent on the topic.
