Hi
I've been playing with a determinstic solver off and on for
a couple of years. It is at a point now that a really hard
puzzle can stop it.
The worst are those puzzles that don't have single solutions.
I have a little hand held puzzle generator but stopped using
it when I found some had multiple solutions.
I don't know of any way of solviing multiple solution games
without back tracking. Is there such a way?
I wonder how many unique puzzles there are? Just swapping
numbers is not unique. It has to be unique patterns and no rotations.
