produce files in the format you require it shouldn't matter what I use,
and what machine/OS I run it on.
Absolutely. But here in America, thieving idiots wearing ties
occasionally wander in off the golf course and tell technical experts
how to do their jobs, and feel perfectly justified in doing so.
