I would think the hardest part would be finding the
properly aged, unused
board material itself. ? Boards from 1976 have definite technological
characteristics, along with the patina of aging, compared to a board cut
today.
Yes, it would be hard, but not impossible. I come across chunks of old
circuit board stock all the time, including the weird materials that
have been obsolete for 40 years.
The hardest part is getting the oxidation right on any of the metal
surfaces, including (and probably most importantly) the solder/pin
interfaces.
