Phil, this thing seems to pay attention to the duration of the read
pulse, instead of the edge. Do I read this right? That would seem
to be pointless, as it's the edge of the read pulse that matters.
Just as you find in index pulses, read pulse widths can vary all over
the place, depending on the drive.
