I now have over 40 recyclers across the country
looking for items for
collectors. Below is a list of what is being asked for.
If you want to add to the request list, that is fine.
The scrappers are asking for pictures. Remember that to them, this is just
junk to be parted out; they are unfamiliar with the equipment.
If at all possible, PLEASE send me a LINK to a site that has a clear
picture, maybe some discussion about the machines in question.
As far as pictures and discussion, Wikipedia is often a good first place
to look. Google Image search on the names alone will also often provide
good pictures.
Some relevant examples of machines listed below:

Pretty much any machine that looks vaguely like this one (regardless of
color or card arrangement) should probably be saved:
http://www.pdp8.net/pdp8em/pdp8em.shtml
Because they're pretty endangered. Anything with lots of lights and
switches on the front panel is probably a good candidate.
Others can probably chime in with decent pictures of the other machines.
Thanks for alerting the recyclers, Cindy! I'm sure it has a lot more
pull coming from someone who runs a computer/electronics shop than it
does coming from a few random hobbyists.
