The Thinkjet mechanism is the standard chassis, but the cables (the
prinhead tapewire, the stepper motor leads, etc) are longer to reach to
the bottom of the Logic B PCB. Which means standard Thinkjet parts don't
fit without modification...

I think most of the HP-IB disk drives will work on the IPC even though
The 9133H (which is what I have) works fine, and makes the machine a lot
more useable. The manual lists a number of drives that are supported
(looks to be those that use the SS/80 protocol?), I would guess others
work too (for example the 9123 is not listed, the 9122 is. I suspect the
9123 will work if you can find a way to power it).
