It's OK to have the ballast and tube available separately, so long as THIS
year/month's tube doesn't fit last year/month's ballast. People might
even pay more for modularity, but the industry will continually obsolete
each item as soon as it is sold.

Or ask ANYTHING about any OS prior to XP and OS/X?
