Apologies for the slow reply -- August involved 5 air flights, 6
countries (OK, one twice), a Worldcon, a Eurocon and a lot more
besides. Then I returned to a rain-sodden Czech Republic to start a

I am sure it is, but seriously, I have not
soldered a component since
my teens in the 1980s, when I butchered a few Maplin's kits into
non-working e-waste by cooking the chips. The last time I soldered
something, it was a cable onto a dynamo-powered bicycle light, and
that was a decade ago.
This is far, *far* above my level.
Why not drop James a line and see if he intends to offer some completed
units?
