Thanks to everyone for help with the programming
algorithm. Good thing that I have a few extra to
"experiment with" (i.e., blow up). I may put this on
the back burner for a while.
An additional ugliness in the spec is that apparently
the -5 has to be the first and last voltage the chip
sees. I hope that this is not TOO critical...sometimes
I forget how "good" we have it now.
