I do consider plotter graphics as a graphical display of some sort.

We have an LGP-30 with Calcomp 565. But I think that analog computers have
already created computer graphics on X-Y recorders long before the LGP-30
(thinking of Lissajous). And of course there have been mechanical
apparatus before analog computers.
