- Does anyone consider the Franklin Ace 1000 Apple II clone very
collectible?
What an interesting question - I don't usually consider how collectable
a computer is, just whether or not I already have one ;).
I guess I would consider it collectable but I'm really big on Apple
clones. Franklin is an interesting case as they were one of, if not
the first major casualty in Apple's fight against clonemakers. They
also made a lot of nice modifications to the Apple design.
