That might be it, or deionized (DI) water. I don't think it was
alcohol.
Do you still ahve any of it at all? If so :
(a) any distintive smell?
(b) Put some on a paper towel (you want a damp patch about 1" in
diameter)
hold a corner of the paper with pliers and set fire to it. Does the
liquid
prevent the paper burning (water will do this, obviously), or does it
encourage the flames (many organic solvents)? Obviously do this outside
and have a bucket of water handy to extinguish it.
