This is the reason that I use "sniping" on ePay--waiting until the last
second or two to place a bid. I simply prime the sniping software days
ahead of time with what I'm willing to pay and don't fall prey to "auction
madness". If the price has been bid up too high by the time the auction
closes, the other bidders don't know that I'm even in the market for the
item.
