IMHO, Google has enough shenanigans of their own. I use the Level3 DNS (4.2.2.1 / 4.2.2.2
/ 4.2.2.3).
If you have a Unix box as your firewall, as I do, it's not hard to set up your own DNS
server to serve the machines behind it. Then you can just load the current root files and
take it from there.
