That's what makes me different from 99% of other users. I don't care too
much about downtime (although obviously I do want to be up and running
again in a reasonable time), what I do care about (and not just with
computers) is that when the device claims to be operational, it's working
correctly. No odd glitches, etc.
A device you can't trust to give the right results is, to me, worse than
useless. But alas few people seem to care about getting the right result
any more.

actually, I do refuse to use anything I don't properly understand,
but that is another issue.
