Manufactured by Cinematronics, a San Diego company I consulted for a bit
back then. It came out about 1978, IIRC. As I remember the hardware was a
custom processor with a peculiar but passable instruction set, and a
black-and-white vector display.
Fun game, too. My friends and I wasted a considerable amount of time in
front of one. We were also pretty amused that the two ships they used for
the combat were (though officially unnamed) a little tiny USS Enterprise
and a little tiny Imperial Star Destroyer. :)
