More importantly, I can play Adventure again :)
Sweet. Great use for the kit. This is on a vanilla 11/23+? How's
the response time? My first experiences with Adventure were on an
11/750, so it didn't seem too slow.
The response is reasonable - slow enough to read the scrolling data easily,
but no real delay after entering a command.
The system at the moment is 11/23+ processor, RLV12 with two RL02s, RX02 and
1.5MB of memory (I know that RT11 only uses 28K, but they were the cards
that came with the system, and I have a copy of RSX11, when I get around to
trying it...), there is also a Compaq 486/33 pretending to be a TU58.
The terminal of choice is a VT100, but I use a VT320 for Pacman and Space
Invaders - I haven't got the settings properly sorted on the VT100 yet, and
cursor control isn't correct (the "graphics" just scroll down one side,
rather than producing the game screen).
Jim.
