After examples like these, I may NEVER

Hear hear!
I normally read and write my email on View (a text editor) on a BBC
Micro.
When I'm away from home I occassionaly log into my ISP's mail server
via
a web client, and it's presentation of messages has got more and more
mickey mouse with irrelevant bells and whistles that get in the way of
actually doing anything.
I spent about an hour earlier today bugfixing a friend's Yahoo email
account, about 50 minutes of which was spent getting past all the
fluff, pictures and videos that are fetched on every page of the
Yahoo webmail client. Grrr.
