Is the Apple Z-80 coprocessor boards the so-called
"CP/M boards"?
That's exactly what they are, including the MS Softcard III
for the Apple III. They aren't the same though, which is why they
were mentioned with the 'but' tacked on.
I tried to get one on Ebay awhile back but someone scooped me in the last 10
seconds. $@%#^&#*
