itunes often has paid apps for free on select
days, but there's no way to
know which day or which apps come up ahead of time.
There's an app for that!
It's called PandoraBox, and while it won't tell you ahead of time when certain
apps will be free (or discounted), it does give you a list of currently free/discounted
apps. And you can add apps to a favourites list which you check at regular intervals to
keep an eye on any price drops.
