There is a "BCC to myself" option.
But no, mails from yourself normally only show up if someone replies,
or if sent back to you by a listserv, but then they're marked as read
on receipt.
Hmm, afaik it's always "just worked" for me. I'm afraid to go in via the
web interface to look at settings there in case it magically "upgrades" me
to a newer version where the feature stops working :)
I do find that threading for this list is utterly screwed up (e.g. "Who
built the first minicomputers" is split into a main thread and two separate
sub-threads, and within this thread there's also a sub-thread entitled
"Vintage-computer.com" which has no relevance), and I'm not sure where that
nonsense creeps in - e.g. if it's my mail client (Thunderbird), or gmail
trying to do something clever, or even the list software. I don't think it
happens on any of the other lists I'm on, just classiccmp. Drives me nuts
as I keep missing replies because they're elsewhere, or not seeing threads
because they're buried in another thread with a totally unrelated topic!
cheers
