Before we get into arguing about "better" configurations, ..
Does anybody know what the f he's asking about?
Is his machine broken?
Is it working perfectly, but he doesn't know how to "access" it?

Is it the machine that he's writing with?
Perhaps fixing the shift key on his active machine should be a higher
priority.
