That way every list member would be able to post a
download address for
something mentioned in a post. If one of the many other sites out there
(or on the classiccmp server) want to archive that item before it's
deleted, so much the better.
I suppose that it'd be nice if the "relocator" of a file follows up to any
list discussion around that file, just so future readers of the archives stand
a chance of being able to find it again if needed.
