because for the one that doesn't know portuguese or spanish, the
languages are very alike...
It is very true, and very sad, that many (most?) Americans think that
anyone who has slightly darker skin and is from ANY country south of the USA
is automatically "Mexican", speaks Spanish, and all eat the same kind of
food. I apologize on their behalf.
