I don't think you understand what I mean by "core logic". I'm not
talking about coincident-current core memory; I mean ferractor logic.
The SS-80/90 manuals on bitsavers are perhaps the best technical
source on the subject, but I found another web site that gives an

The key thing to me is that the ferractor is an "active" pumped
device. The Univac SS-80 used a kilowatt 2-phase clock.
