Irrespective of the BIOS, one could always install an "extender" such
as Ontrack Disk Manager or SpeedStor to accommodate whatever drive
size you cared to use.
Is this kind of software still available? I never see it bundled with
drives any more, and I can't find a download location at the moment. I
have some multi-gig drives I'd like to install on an XT that are
currently locked at 1024c/16h/64spt...
