The cost of postage, is the killer, sending stuff out of the UK is very
expensive, I've had several eBay customers complain at the cost (I send them
the link to the Post Office website to prove I'm not trying to rip them
off!).

yes, but I've never bought from the UK - does that gum things up or is it
easy to get things sent 'over the pond'?
