I just opened a group of 3 boxes that have been at the bottom of piles for
20+ years, and wondering whether I want to continue.
I'll probably keep a few items, such as "Microsoft C Runtime Library
Reference", or maybe not.
In a few days, I will post a list of close to 100 items, however, that I
DO want to give away.
But, the first three items, all not one word ever read, tape bound, 8.5x11
with registration marks for 5.25?x8.5" trimming are:
"Microsoft Windows Chinese Edition Version 3.0 Retail User's Guide" (663
pages)
"Microsoft Windows Chinese Edition Version 3.0 Software Development Kit
Extension" : "Installation And Reference Guide"
"Microsoft Windows Chinese Edition Version 3.0 Device Development Kit
Extension" : "Installation Guide and WIFE [sic!] Programming Manual"
[Doesn't anybody here need to reprogram a WIFE?]
I almost walked away.
Somewhere, I have the Windoze 3.0 software CD that has retail versions of
3.0 in MANY MANY languages.
But the 4th book is new hardcover Aho & Ullman "Foundations of Computer
Science", followed by Hughes "System Programming Under CP/M-80", so I
guess that I'll keep plodding through them.
