One of my ultra-low priority projects is to
locate the tape, slurp
it into a modern machine and cut MP3s of the programs and see if I
can use my Rio PMP300 (or portable CDDA/MP3 player) as a load device.
MP3 won't work. I've tried it. Also, I've been told it won't by people
who know better than me that it is too lossy. Use a straight WAV file recording instead.
My fallback is 44100 KHz audio files and a portable CD player.
