No, don't do that. The heads might not fly if you do that, and you'd
end up with an instant head crash on every head.
I was (mistakenly?) assuming that we were trying to recover data from a
*drum* ... if this is a platter, and the heads are spaced courtesy of Mr.
Bernoulli - then slowing down the rotation would in fact be a Bad Idea...
