Yes, it was an upgrade you could purchase from Apple to convert your //e
into a //gs. It came with a new motherboard and back panel to accomodate
the new ports and such.
That might be the coolest Apple thing I have learned
recently. I want
one!
I finally got one a couple months ago :)
